Soul Padel has announced two senior appointments as the business builds on a foundational year and accelerates its expansion across the UK.
Guy Brothwood has been appointed Property Director, strengthening Soul Padel’s ability to secure, develop, and deliver high-quality padel clubs at scale. Guy brings extensive experience across property acquisition, development strategy, and landlord partnerships, and will play a central role in progressing Soul Padel’s strong and active pipeline of new sites.
Craig Milne has also joined the business as Regional Manager for Scotland and the North East, reinforcing Soul Padel’s regional delivery capability at a time of increasing momentum. Craig’s immediate priority will be to support the successful launch of Soul Padel Braehead in Glasgow, scheduled to open in early 2026, alongside overseeing the delivery of a growing portfolio of clubs across Scotland and the North East.
The appointments follow a strong year for Soul Padel, which opened three successful clubs in 2025. The business now moves forward with a proven model, an experienced leadership team, a healthy pipeline of new locations, and well-established partnerships that support sustainable and scalable growth.
With an experienced senior team, strong board and industry advisors including David Stalker, the Chair of UK Active, Soul Padel is well funded to deliver between 5 and 10 clubs in 2026/27. These plans are underpinned by robust property relationships, trusted delivery partners, and a clear operational framework designed to support long-term success.
Mark Hewlett, CEO and Founder of Soul Padel, said,
“These appointments reflect the strength of the position we are now in as a business. We have proven our model, we are profitable at club level, and we have recently closed a significant funding round that allows us to focus on delivery at scale. Guy and Craig bring the experience and leadership we need to execute our pipeline, support our partners with confidence, and continue building high-quality clubs that communities trust and value.”
Lumaca Capital, Soul Padel’s advisors and investment partners, added,
“Soul Padel has combined disciplined execution with a compelling growth strategy. With a profitable foundation, a strong development pipeline, and senior appointments of this calibre, the business has real substance and is well positioned to scale in a considered and sustainable way.”
As Soul Padel continues to work closely with landlords, local authorities, schools, and commercial partners, the company remains focused on creating inclusive, community-driven spaces where people can meet, play and connect through padel.
